Getting Started

Begin by downloading the Buzz Clue app and initializing a new game. Then, have your friends join your game using the provided 4-letter game code. Once everyone is connected, simply click the Start button!

Rules

Each round unfolds with one player assuming the role of the clue giver and another as the buzzer, while the remaining participants serve as guessers. Unlike most secret word games played in teams, Buzz Clue adopts a free-for-all format.

The clue giver is assigned a secret word but must refrain from using three specific clues. The buzzer's primary responsibility is to ensure that all clues remain within the predefined boundaries. Any violation of the rules will prompt the buzzer to intervene by buzzing, resulting in point deductions for the clue giver. Meanwhile, as the clue giver provides hints about the secret word, the guessers actively participate by rapidly typing their respective guesses on their smartphones. More points are awarded for quicker correct answers! Once enough guessers have correctly deduced the secret word, a new word is presented to the clue giver. The clue giver has a time limit of 90 seconds to navigate through as many words as possible, with additional bonuses awarded based on the number of successful words.
